After being named Sunderland’s top model last year, Georgia used the platform to get involved in and arrange a number of fundraisers, raising over £2000 for Zoe’s Baby Hospice.

The part time model found a new passion for fundraising while preparing for the Supermodel England finals, coming up with different and creative ways to fundraise such as fun days, fashion show evenings and sponsored paragliding in Turkey.

Georgia was delighted to represent the place of her birth in the competition, doing all she can to put Washington on the map.

The opportunity to represent England in the Top Model of The World competition next year means a great deal to Georgia, but is something she’s not going to let go to her head.

She added: “It’s just so incredible and something I will stand so proud in doing. I also hope that my year of reign will bring me many modelling opportunities far and wide and my title now gives me a bigger platform to speak out on topics , charities and campaigns that are important to me.”
