Six neighbours in this Sunderland street are celebrating a lottery windfall each

The Keswick Avenue residents each banked £1,000 after their SR6 8NN postcode was announced as a daily prize winner with the People’s Postcode Lottery.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said after the Thursday, October 22, draw: “A big congratulations to all those who have picked up a prize today in Sunderland.

"I hope the win will help lift their spirits and they treat themselves to something special with the cash.”

The Fulwell street’s joy follows just days after a total of 13 neighbours in two other city streets, Howick Park, off Dame Dorothy Street, and The General’s Wood, in Washington, received £1,000 each.

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and lottery players have raised more than £600 million already for thousands of good causes.
