They all appeared at Newcastle Crown Court unless otherwise stated.
5. Richard Smithson
Smithson, 32, of Keigley Square, Downhill, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, controlling and coercive behaviour and causing criminal damage at South Tyneside Magistrates Court. 6. James Greenall
Greenall, 30, of Athol Road, Hendon, Sunderland, admitted two charges of unlawful wounding and possessing a knife and a hammer. Mr Recorder Mark Guiliani sentenced him to three years behind bars Photo: NOP
7. Lewis Nesbitt
Nesbitt, 28, of Hertburn Gardens, Washington, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and possession of amphetamine. The prosecution accepted his plea on the basis he attended the scene but was not the person who inflicted the injuries, however, Mr Recorder Sandiford KC said he posed a significant risk and jailed him for two years and eight months Photo: NOP
8. Chad Procter
Procter, of Elms West, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to four counts of theft, one count of assaulting an emergency officer and two counts of failing to attend court. He was convicted in his absence for a second assault on an emergency worker and was was sentenced to nine months imprisonment Photo: NOP
