Police update after two arrested over damage to door of Sunderland home

Northumbria Police has given an update following an incident where the door of a Sunderland house was damaged.

The force arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of causing criminal damage after reports a door had been deliberately kicked through.

Today, Monday, May 11, the force said the 21-year-old had been given a caution, while the boy has been referred to youth support services.
