Officers received a report of a burglary at an address on St. Patrick’s Terrace in the Ryhope area of Sunderland on Monday, March 29.

Police investigating the incident believe that at some point between 7.30am and 5.15pm, offenders had gained access to the property where they stole cash and other items before fleeing the scene.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 6.20pm yesterday (Monday) we received a report of burglary at an address on St Patrick's Terrace, Ryhope.

“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact us using the Tell us Something page on our website quoting log 944 290321.”
