Four teenagers arrested after 'disturbance' leaves two people needing hospital treatment

Durham Constabulary has now launched a witness appeal following the incident, which happened on Claypath and involved ‘several members’ of the public.

The incident took place on Sunday, September 13 at around 12.40am.

A statement from the force, issued on Thursday, October 29, said: “The altercation, which involved several members of the public, resulted in two people needing hospital treatment.

"Three male teenagers aged 17 and a 14-year-old male have been arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation.”
