COURT ROUND-UP: The latest Sunderland cases dealt with by magistrates

Ross Alan Wright, 38, of Leighfield Drive, Sunderland, was fined £66 with three penalty points for speeding. A previous conviction for failure to identify a driver was set aside and the offence withdrawn.

Laura Jones, 26, of Pelaw Crescent, Chester-le-Street, was fined £75 for littering and failing to provide her name and address when required to do so.

Colin Rayner, 65, of Cannock, Chester-le-Street, was fined £266 and banned from driving for six months for speeding.

Craig Simpson, 40, of Belle Vue Road, Sunderland, was fined £692 with four penalty points for speeding.

Joseph Stanley Robert Telfer, 54, of Sutherland Drive, Sunderland, was fined £232 and banned from driving for six months for two offences of speeding.

Gareth Martin Husband, 40, of Sunderland Street, Houghton, was fined £133 with three penalty points for speeding.

Mollie Georgia Murphy, 20, of Avonmouth Road, Sunderland, who denied failure to identify a driver but was convicted in her absence, was fined £660 with six penalty points.
