Bodies of man and woman found at Sunderland house
Two bodies have been found at a house in Tunstall, Sunderland, police have confirmed.
An investigation has been launched after the bodies of two people were found inside a house on Satley Gardens in Sunderland.
Shortly after 10am on Wednesday February 26, Police and ambulances were called to a report of concern for a woman at an address on Satley Gardens, Sunderland.

Hide AdEmergency services attended and found the bodies of a man and a woman inside the property. Their next of kin have been notified, police have said.


A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said they do not believe there was any third party involvements in the two deaths.

Hide AdThey said: "Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths, but at this early stage it is not believed that there was any third party involvement.
"Officers remain in the area to carry out enquiries and there is no wider threat to the public."


Forensic investigators could be seen visiting the property on Wednesday afternoon.

Hide AdThe North East Ambulance Service confirmed that it sent two double-crewed ambulances to the scene alongside two of its Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) crews and a critical care manager to the house.
Nearby residents have said they were shocked to see such a large police presence in the area.
One woman said: "This is shocking, it's normally such a quiet street."
