Package deals, which includes flights, hotel, luggage, coach transfers and ATOL protection start from £445 per person for a seven day break.

The news comes as the ban on foreign travel is due to be lifted for people in England from May 17 as part of the next easing of coronavirus restrictions.

But the green list for foreign holiday destinations is not expected to be published until later this week.

A risk-based traffic light system will be introduced with different rules for returning travellers depending on which list their destination is on.
