We have 9 reminders of life on Wearside in 1960, 1961 and 1962 and it comes to us courtesy of Bill Hawkins of the Sunderland Antiquarian Society.
So whether it was the end of a work shift at SP Austin’s or a Vaux dray at Gillbridge Avenue, we have it all.
We have reminders of the orchestra at Thorney Close Secondary Modern and High Street West in 1962.
We thank Bill for another great collection of images.
