“We are extremely excited to reopen and welcome everyone back to STACK. It has been a long time coming and I’m sure our customers will be as excited as we are to get back. As the largest outdoor venue in Sunderland, we anticipate the first two weeks to sell out quite quickly especially given the positive response we have received on social media since making the announcement that bookings would go live.” said Neill Winch, CEO.

Advance bookings are being recommended especially at weekends, there will be limited capacity to accommodate walk ups, but you may have to queue as demand is expected to be high. A deposit will be required to guarantee your booking, and this will be exchanged for drinks vouchers on the day.

All bookings must be made through their online booking system, and due to the volume of bookings expected they won’t be accepting any booking requests via social media.

Jen Shepherd, Head of Sales & Events, added: “We are only releasing the first two weeks of bookings at this stage and will release more dates closer to the time so that we can effectively manage the bookings should the situation change, and the Government adjust the roadmap. This way we are less likely to disappoint our customers.”

Following the Government guidelines customers must stay seated at all times unless visiting the bathroom and all food & drink can be ordered through the W8R app – which will then be served to your table.

Neill added: “As responsible operators the health and safety of our customers and our staff continues to be the highest priority. Since reopening after the first lockdown, we have put in place extensive Covid safety measures including Covid Marshall’s, social distancing signage, hand sanitizing stations and intensified cleaning regimes and we will continue to operate in line with all of the Government guidelines when we reopen on April 12.”
