Wetherspoon is reopening almost 400 pubs on April 12 – here are the ones near you

The firm is set to open beer gardens, roof top gardens and patios at 394 of its pubs across England from Monday, April 12.

Venues will be open from 9am to 9pm Sunday to Thursday inclusive and 9am to 10pm Friday and Saturday, although some have restrictions on closing times and will close earlier.

They will offer a slightly reduced menu, to include breakfast, burgers, pizza, deli deals, fish and chips and British classics from 9am to 8pm seven days a week.

Customers will be able to order and pay through the Wetherspoon app, however, staff will also be able to take orders and payment at the table.

Pubs will not be operating a booking system and customers will be able to enter the building to gain access to the outside area and also to use the toilet.

Test and trace will be in operation and hand sanitisers available.

Wetherspoon chief executive John Hutson said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our customers and staff back to our pubs.”

County Durham

The Stanley Jefferson, Bishop Auckland; The Wicket Gate, Chester-le-Street; The Company Row, Consett; The Bishops’ Mill, Durham, and The Grand Electric Hall, Spennymoor.

Teesside

The Ward Jackson, Hartlepool, and The Half Moon Inn, Billingham.

Northumberland

The Rohan Kanhai, Ashington, and The Red Lion, Bedlington.

Tyne and Wear

The Mile Castle, Newcastle; The Quayside, Newcastle; The Wouldhave, South Shields; The Ritz, Wallsend; The Sir William de Wessyngton, Washington; The Harry Clasper, Whickham; The Fire Station, Whitley Bay; and The Five Swans, Newcastle.
