Hospitality jobs in Sunderland pubs, restaurants and hotels to apply for now

As the hospitality sector reopens following the easing of Covid restrictions, many venues across Wearside are now beginning to look for new staff.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, many establishments are having to adapt their service style to ensure the safety of both customers and staff – with table service a must for all pubs, bars and restaurants.

These are some of the pubs, restaurants and hotels in Sunderland that are currently looking for staff.

Greens

The pub on Low Row in Sunderland city centre are looking to hire front of house staff on a part time basis.

Blackrose Pubs, the company who own Greens, have said that experience is not essential as full training will be given.

The Grange Hotel

The Sizzling Pub on Newcastle Road is currently searching for part time bar staff – with a competitive salary on offer.

Successful candidates will receive flexible working hours and 33% discount across all Mitchell & Butler brands.

The Palm

Following the extension of its beer garden, The Palm on Timber Beach Road is now looking for a number of staff for the bar and floor team.

Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role and be willing to work both evenings and weekends – with hours varying from 15 to 40 a week.

Hilton Garden Inn

The hotel on Vaux Brewery Way is “urgently” searching for food and beverage team member to join their team.

Some of the main duties for the role include taking customer orders, providing a warm atmosphere for guests and ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant for every diner.

KFC Pennywell

The fast-food restaurant, based on Chester Road, is currently looking for a part time team member to join their workforce.

The chain say that previous experience is not necessary but candidates must be able to work as part of a team.

The Chesters

The busy Chester Road pub is on the search for bar staff – with the closing date for applicants being on Monday, June 14.
