The £3million seafront development was planned to open on August Bank Holiday Weekend but Storm Francis affected the final stages of the build.

Now the eagerly-anticipated food and drinks spot, made from 20 shipping containers, has opened its doors to the first customers.

The coronavirus pandemic also means social distancing measures are in place and bosses have pulled together a Covid-19 Safe Playbook for customers and staff with all the details of the measures in place.
