1. CoffeeHaus, John Street
After being closed for the past few weeks due to Lockdown, CoffeeHaus has reopened its doors for quality coffees and a great range of pastries and cakes. Its current opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Photo: JPI Media
2. Funky Beach, Seaburn Promenade
Funky Beach, beneath House of Zen, stocks colourful cakes and truffles by Sunderland-based Whipped Goods Co, as well as a great choice of hot drinks. You can also pick up hearty comfort foods, such as homemade gammon broth and hot beef in gravy bap. Photo: submitted
3. Fausto, Marine Walk, Roker
People out for a walk with a friend along the seafront will be glad to hear that Fausto has reopened for coffees, snacks and takeaway lunches. Make sure to try the bagels! Photo: JPI Media
4. The Train Line, Seaburn Metro Station
The Train Line has opened at the former Seaburn News at Seaburn Metro Station. Expect a whole range of colourful cakes and tray bakes, as well a American brand pops, fudges and more. They also do their own brand coffee. Photo: Stu Norton
