Budget begins as Sunderland hopes for film studios funding

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has begun giving his Budget speech to MPs in the House of Commons.

A 2p cut to national insurance to ease the tax burden on workers is among key policies expected to be included.

Here in Sunderland, it is hoped Mr Hunt will announce funding to clear the way for the Crown Works film studios plans.
