March 27, 1992: Manic Street Preachers play Sunderland

Among the names to appear at the Poly, now Sunderland University, of course, were Welsh rockers the Manic Street Preachers on March 27, 1992.

This was less than three years before the still unsolved disappearance of guitarist Richey Edwards.
