Durham City succumbed to a 4-0 defeat at home to Team Northumbria in Division Two last night.
The visitors started brightly, going ahead on 36 minutes when Robert Spence turned home a low cross.
Two minutes into the second half, they doubled their lead when Gerard Richardson converted a penalty, before City keeper Daniel Gladstone made a brilliant save to prevent a quickfire third goal.
Team Northumbria, though, did go further ahead on 70 minutes, when Ben Dibb-Fuller fired into the bottom corner.
Three minutes from time, Gerard Richardson scored his second, slotting home a cross at the far post.
