Friends and family have been remembering a beloved grandad who died this weekend following a disturbance at a nightclub.

Stewart Anderson, 54, died in the early hours of Sunday after being taken to the University Hospital of North Durham, following an incident at the Loveshack club in Durham city.

Yesterday, his family paid tribute to the "hardworking man" and "devoted grandad". He is survived by his daughters Kay and Kelly and granddaughter Neve.
