Craven, from Manchester, is, like Macleod, a former top notch international amateur loking for a breakthrough and has launched life in the paid ranks with three straight victories.

Macleod’s promoter, Phil Jeffries, said it is an exciting challenge for the gifted boxer.

“Isaac has been boxing journeymen and winning but now he is in with a good, unbeaten kid.

ITV4 televise Liverpool super-middleweight Callum Smith’s WBSS opener against Sweden’s Erik Skoglund.
