Man left with injuries after being attacked in Washington

The 64-year-old was assaulted on the access road to The Galleries near to the roundabour at the retail park.

It happened just after noon on Sunday.

A man had got out of his car and assaulted his victim who was left with minor injuries.

It is thought there were people in the area at the time, some of who may have captured the incident on their phones and officers are keen for them to get in contact.
