Final call for young Sunderland artists to have work shown at exhibition

Arts Centre Washington are asking for young artists aged 11-19 years old to submit their artwork for this year's Youth Arts exhibition.

Now in its 25th year, the Youth Arts Exhibition has become a staple in the visual arts calendar at Arts Centre Washington, who look forward

to the high quality submissions of artwork from 11-19 year olds from across Sunderland and the surrounding areas.

This multi-disciplinary exhibition can include art works in any medium including painting, sculpture, textiles, video and digital photography.

A team of young curators will be working with arts professionals to select and install the works for the exhibition.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 10.

The exhibition opens on Monday, February 3 and runs until March 14.
