Sunderland Illuminations launched on October 9, 2020.

The city’s annual Illuminations display at Roker and Seaburn launched in October, providing some much-needed sparkle in the city as the dark nights cut in. This year’s Festival of Light and associated Illuminations entertainment has been cancelled as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the lights are shining on until early 2021 for families to enjoy. Check out our pictures of the attractions here.
