The show has become a global phenomenon, combining ABBA’s timeless songs with the funny tale of a mother, a daughter and three possible dads unfolding on a Greek island as a wedding gets set to take place.

And the show proved a huge hit with the North East audience – with lively song and dance routines that not only had people dancing in their seats, but which also brought the crowd to their feet to dance to some of ABBA’s greatest hits.

While Emma Mullen stars as Sophie Sheridan and Toby Miles plays Sky.

All cast members were absolutely flawless in this slick production, with impeccable singing and dance routines that were truly dazzling.

Every song was impeccably performed, with particular highlights including ‘Gimme! Gimme Gimme!’ as well as ‘Money, Money, Money’ and ‘The Winner Takes It All’, which really brought the house down.

Every cast member deserves recognition for their stunning performance and the live musicians truly made the performance, for their incredible delivery of every single track which truly brought the production to life.

This was honestly one of the best musicals I have seen and it’s safe to say the audience all appeared to have been blown away by the sheer talent and skill of the cast and all the production team.

So much so, that the crowd gave the cast and band a standing ovation before dancing out of the theatre to a medley of ABBA hits.
