It's been a mesmerising month in Sunderland as the city welcomed its annual Illuminations and Festival of Light.

Before we know it, the celebration is entering its final week. And it's set to go out with a bang. A breathtaking firework display is set to take place on Sunday, from 6pm with the best views from Cliffe Park and along the seafront. As the closing evening draws closer, we wanted to share some of your own striking pictures from the Illuminations.
