With both cup and league action taking place this weekend, there were a number of successes across the area – and some shock results along the way. 17. 4 - Guisborough Town
Guisborough Town continued an eye-catching start to the season with a 3-0 triumph at Northallerton Town on Monday and Saturday’s narrow 1-0 FA Cup win at Penrith as Sonni Coleman’s goal made it six wins in a row for the Priorymen. Photo: Tim Richardson
18. 3 - Marske United
It’s been a solid week for the Seasiders as they continue their impressive start to the season. They secured a last gasp win against North East rivals Dunston UTS on Bank Holiday Monday thanks to an injury-time winner from Andrew May and then an Andrew Stephenson goal helped them to a home draw against Widnes on Saturday Photo: Other
19. 2 - West Allotment Celtic
Last week’s leaders drop from the top spot – despite their 4-0 FA Cup win at Harrogate Railway on Saturday. The free-scoring Northern League Division Two side are averaging over four and half goals a game so far this season and can claim to be the region’s non-league Entertainers. Photo: Other
20. 1 - Stockton Town
These are exciting times for the Anchors as they end August with a comprehensive 4-0 at Thornaby and followed that up with an FA Vase First Qualifying Round win by the same score-line against Northern League Division One rivals Ashington. It will take a good side to stop the Anchors in this sort of form. Photo: MAX WAILES
