From academy graduates to big-name signings – and with the odd flop thrown in – there’s a host of former Black Cats set to line-up in the third tier next season.
So which former Sunderland players could be playing against Phil Parkinson’s side next season? We take a look at some of the notable names – and whether they could come back to haunt the Wearsiders:
1. Ethan Robson

2. Jonny Williams
