Ashbrooke Belford House will look to knock South Shields Reserves out of the Monkwearmouth Cup at Silksworth Welfare Park tomorrow.

Belford, beaten by Annfield Plain in midweek, miss the injured Dan Lowson, while Callum Charlton and Mark Green are on holiday.

However, midweek marksmen Marc Moon and Kevin Humble, plus Mark Curry, Nathan Burrell, Shaun Fisk and Adam Hopps are all available for the first round tie (2pm).

Boldon CA host fellow high-fliers Redcar Athletic in an intriguing tie.

Secretary Kevin Oliver said: “We are expecting Jonny Gage back after a five-week injury. Neil Crammon is also back after a one-game ban and Adam Drysdale is back after being cup-tied last week, but captain Jack Lawton is out through injury.

“It’ll be the first time we’ve met them this season and we’re looking forward to it. We are just coming out of a bad period and players are coming back from injury, so things are looking up.”

Redcar have Lance Skelton, Joel Callender, McCorie Carmichael, James Swann, Kristian Kamara, and Luke Woodall all returning to the squad.

In the preliminary round, Sunderland West End welcome back Stephen Lax for their trip to Coxhoe Athletic. He sat out last week through suspension.

Jonathon Greener faces a late fitness test after coming off with a knock to the knee in last week’s victory. Other than that, manager Baz Cook has a full strength squad to choose from.

Coxhoe have David Gibson available after a one-match suspension and new signings Ben Priestley and Chris Dodds are added to squad, but Mitchell McKenna-Little is doubtful.

Darlington 1883 Reserves entertain Annfield Plain in their first game at their new Eastbourne home.

Plain’s Chris Connell said: “We’ve got a strong side out so there will be no excuses. A must-win game for us because it’s the only possibility of us getting to the cup final.”

Plain have Danny Parker available, while Scott Watson and Joseph Longstaff are both back from injury.

On-song Leam Rangers, with 16 goals in their last four games, host Richmond Town at Hilltop.

Richmond miss influential midfielder Kalumn Holbrook, but Connor Lyon, Joshua Knox and Radford return.

Leam have a full squad available, with the return of star men Leon Kane and Joe Adams.
