Sunderland-born boss Ian Chandler departs Whitley Bay
Northern League Division One club Whitley Bay are looking for a new manager after parting company with Ian Chandler.
The Wearsider’s departure from Hillheads followed Wednesday night’s 3-2 Northumberland Senior Cup defeat to Morpeth Town.
Chandler, an outstanding player and FA Vase winner for Whitley Bay, led the club to three consecutive Vase wins at Wembley (2009, 2010 and 2011) in his first stint as manager at Bay, returning in February after a spell at Durham City.
