The 21-year-old has started the Wearsiders’ last four league games at the back and has seen his game time increase since the appointment of Lee Johnson.

Johnson says Sunderland would 'of course' be interested in striking a permanent deal for Sanderson this summer, but says it will be up to Wolves to decide whether the youngster is available.

Neil Lamb replied: 100 per cent I only think he will come if we are in the Championship

John Griffiths commented: Yes but can't see Wolves parting with him, will be a Premier League player

Stephen Clark agreed: Without any doubt. Sign the lad if you can at the end of the season.

Paul Anderson posted: Can’t see Wolves selling him, or him playing in League 1 next season. If we get promoted we have got to at least test the water, and maybe we’ll get him on loan again next season

Neil Martin responded: Depends on what the fella wants. He has one year left on his contract. If he signs a new one then we won't get him, if he doesn't the price might be right. Quality wise he is going to get better and better.

Keith Gardiner admitted: Don't see them selling a potential star of the future especially as he is showing that quality with us but in answer to your question HELL YES!!!

Peter Gibson added: From what I’ve seen so far I would say yes.

David Robinson said: 100 per cent it just looks like the lad wants to play us
