In what looks set to be one of the most competitive third tier seasons in recent history, it’s tough to call who will end up in the top two come May 2021.
But the experts at oddschecker have had their say on how League One will pan out this season – and you can see their predicted table by scrolling down the page:

9. 16th - Shrewsbury Town
While they pushed Championship side Middlesbrough all the way in the Carabao Cup last week, oddschecker feel it could be a season of consolidation for Sam Ricketts' side. Photo: Gareth Copley

10. 15th - Swindon Town
The departures of Keshi Anderson, Eoin Doyle and Jerry Yates leave Swindon short of goals - but oddschecker don't think that will stop the Robins from attaining a mid-table finish. Photo: Michael Steele

11. 14th - Burton Albion
It will be interesting to see how Burton cope without Nigel Clough. After a mixed summer in the transfer market, oddschecker have predicted a mid-table finish for the Brewers. Photo: Michael Regan

12. 13th - Lincoln City
The arrivals of Liam Bridcutt and Callum Morton have added some extra quality to the Imps' squad, and oddschecker feel they can climb the League One table this term. Photo: Laurence Griffiths
