Grayson made no fewer than then signings during his time with the Black Cats, in what was an ultimately forgettable reign. So, where are the players signed by Grayson now? Scroll down and click through the pages as we take a look at where there careers headed after Grayson’s departure:
5. Marc Wilson

6. Callum McManaman
McManaman was briefly a bright spark at the Stadium of Light, offering some creativity moving forward. He left Sunderland last summer, joining Wigan, before heading to Luton after being released by the Latics after the 2018/19 campaign. Photo: Nigel Roddis
7. Brendan Galloway
Highly-rated by parent club Everton, the young defender failed to make an impact at Sunderland and made just eight appearances for the Black Cats. He left the Toffees in the summer, teaming-up with Championship side Luton Town. Photo: Mark Runnacles
8. Tyias Browning
One of the more exotic destinations for Grayson’s cohort is China - with Browning having joined Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande in the summer. He’s also been handed a call-up to the Chinese national squad this year. Photo: Mark Runnacles
