When is the FA Cup first-round draw, who could Sunderland face and how much prize money could they earn?

Sunderland will discover their FA Cup first-round opponents on Monday evening.

Here’s everything you need to know about the draw, including how to watch it, who the Black Cats could face and the prize money on offer.

When is the draw and where can I watch it?

The draw will take place at around 7:10pm on Monday evening ahead of Bishop's Stortford’s clash with St Albans City, which will be televised on BT Sport.

Which teams will be in the draw?

A host of non-league clubs have come through qualifiying to reach the first-round stage.

League One and League Two clubs will also enter the competition at the next phase of the competition, including former winners Portsmouth, Sunderland and Ipswich.

When will the first-round ties be played?

First-round ties will be played on the weekend starting Saturday, November 7.

There will be no replays in this year’s competition due to 2020/21 season starting late due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

How much money could clubs earn?

In light of the pandemic, this season’s FA Cup prize money has been reduced.

Winners of the first round ties will pick up £22,629, compared to £36,000 last season.

Fourth Round Proper winners: £90,000

Fifth Round Proper winners: £180,000

Quarter-Final winners: £360,000

Semi-Final winners: £900,000
