Sunderland are preparing to face Sheffield Wednesday in the first round of the Carabao Cup - and Alex Neil has held his pre-match press conference ahead of the match.
The Black Cats won 3-2 at Bristol City on Saturday, and Neil is set to make changes to his team for the match at Hillsborough.
Players such as Patrick Roberts, Bailey Wright and Luke O’Nien are expected to start as Neil looks to hand game time to all of his squad.
Sunderland will then host QPR in their next Championship fixture.
