- The Black Cats’ head coach is set to speak to the media at 1pm ahead of Saturday’s game

On Millwall
Whenever you go there you know you have been in a football game. It will be an intense affair. It should be an interesting game.
It makes sense for us to play the game, I don’t like being games behind. If we win we will jump up a few places and will be a point of the top-six. It feels like we’ve been off long enough.
On Bailey Wright
I haven’t spoken to him. bailey is an amazing guy and he knows we are all here for him. He is right in the thick of it. Even if he hasn’t had much game time. He is often the loudest voice in the dressing room. It is really sad what has happened to his mother in law.
On Bennette and Wright
They have both done well. Costa Rica play today, they can still go through but they play Germany who have to win themselves. Lets hope the story is Jewison and he scores the winner
Wright came in and did very well. The timing for him was good. Aji is fit, Ballard is nearly fit, O’Nien is over his suspension now.
