Sunderland defender Tom Flanagan has been linked with a move to Championship side Swansea City.

According to reports from HITC Sport, the Swans are keen on a deal for Flanagan - who only joined the Black Cats from Burton Albion in the summer.

Flanagan has starred for Sunderland this season, flourishing in several roles across the backline.

And his form is now rumoured to have attracted interest, with Graham Potter keen to recruit new faces as the Swans look to mount a push for the play-offs.

But Sunderland will no doubt be keen to keep hold of Flanagan - and several of their other prize assets.

Rumours continue to swirl around the likes of Josh Maja and George Honeyman, whose contracts are set to expire in the summer.

Indeed, fresh reports today suggest that Southampton are eyeing a move for Maja, joining a long list of rumoured admirers.
