13. EDWIN ZOETEBIER
The Dutch stopper was signed in 1997 as backup to Lionel Perez, with Sunderland parting with £1million for his services. 14. CHRISTIAN BASILLA
A French defensive midfielder, Basilla’s time at Sunderland was ravaged by injuries and he made just 13 appearances during the 2005/06 season.
