'Thanks, kid's crying': Sunderland fans react to massive injury blow

Earlier today, Sunderland announced that defender Bailey Wright will miss eight to 12 weeks after suffering an ankle injury at the Kassam Stadium.

The 27-year-old has made five appearances since arriving on loan, keeping four clean sheets and cementing himself as a first-team regular alongside Jordan Willis and Tom Flanagan in a back five.

Sunderland fans were quick to react on social media, with many supporters gutted about Wright’s setback. Many took to Twitter to wish him well.
