Sunderland FA Youth Cup match postponed
Sunderland Under-18’s will have to wait to face Swansea City Under-18’s in the Third Round of the FA Youth Cup following the postponement of their clash due to a frozen pitch. The two sides were due to square off on Wednesday evening in south Wales, but the Swans have called the game off due to the current weather conditions.

Hide AdA statement released by Sunderland read: ‘Tomorrow’s FA Youth Cup third round tie at Swansea City has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
‘Adam Asghar’s Under-18s were due to take on the Swans at Landore Training Ground (KO 7pm), but the fixture will now be rescheduled.
Supporters who have purchased tickets for the original date will receive their print at home tickets once the new date has been confirmed.
Those who require a refund are advised to wait for the confirmation of the new fixture date before requesting this. Further details will be announced in due course.’

Hide AdLeeds United ‘close’ to signing Birmingham City midfielder
According to TEAMtalk, Leeds United are closing in on the signing of George Hall from Birmingham City. The Blues recently saw a proposed takeover of the club fail and may reluctantly look to sell Hall in January in order to raise funds.
The 18 year old has been one of Birmingham's standout players this season and has featured 18 times in the league so far this campaign. Leeds reportedly view the midfielder as an ideal replacement for Matheusz Klich - who is set to leave the club for the MLS.
Coventry City release stadium update
Coventry City have revealed they have signed a new licence agreement with Mike Ashley’s Fraser Group to continue playing at the stadium.
A statement released by Coventry read: ‘Coventry City Football Club is pleased to confirm that it has signed a new licence agreement with Frasers Group in order for the Club to continue to play home games at the Coventry Building Society Arena. This represents a positive step forward for the Club and its fans and we now look forward to establishing a constructive working relationship with Frasers Group.’
