Sunderland 'Til I Die is a Netflix hit - with season two among the UK's most-watched shows

Released on Wednesday, April 1, the docu-series - which chronicles the 2018/19 season and Stewart Donald and Charlie Methven’s attempts to transform the club – has already climbed into Netflix’s top ten charts.

Indeed, as of 10am on Friday, April 3, the show was the fourth most-watched series on the streaming platform over the last week.

That means Sunderland ‘Til I Die has been streamed more times than popular shows such as Better Call Saul and The Stranger.
