Sunderland face a huge test on Sunday as they bid to climb off the bottom of the Premier League table against a Leeds United side who have made a strong start to the campaign.
Both Régis Le Bris and Daniel Farke have some big injury concerns, with late decision to be made over a number of key players in both camps. Sunderland will of course welcome back into contention a number of players who have not been registered in their Europa League squad, including Chemsdine Talbi and Juan Riquelme.
Here’s the latest team news from both camps as we have it...

1. Kevin Danso - unavailable
Danso will serve his one-game suspension after being shown a red card for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity in the 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth last weekend. | Getty Images

2. Brian Brobbey - available
Sunderland have taken a cautious approach to a return from his hamstring issue, not risking him in either of the last two games. That should clear the way for his return in this crucial fixture, though it remains to be seen whether that is from the start or the bench. | Martin Rickett/PA Wire

3. Daniel James - available
Has been absent with a back injury of late but trained fully this week and so is in contention for some minutes here.

4. Dominic Calvert-Lewin - major doubt
The striker has emerged as a major doubt for this game due to a foot injury picked up in the latter stages of the draw with Manchester United last weekend. Hadn't trained as of Friday afternoon. Would be a big absentee for the visitors.
