The Stadium of Light favourite has been running daily workout sessions via YouTube, helping supporters to keep fit during these difficult times.

O’Nien has been encouraging those taking part to donate to the NHS following their workouts – and even began a raffle where there was a chance of winning two of his matchworn shirts for anyone who donated over £5.

And having set an initial target of £5,000, donations have now soared to £6,811.32 when Gift Aid is added. All the money raised will head to NHS Charities Together and their COVID-19 Urgent Appeal.
