Tony Mowbray’s side will be backed by a sold-out away end on New Year’s Day with Sunderland revealing over 3,400 Black Cats fans will be in attendance at Bloomfield Road. Season card holders with 10+ Black Cat points were given the opportunity to purchase their ticket before the allocation had sold-out.
The clash with Blackpool comes just three days after Sunderland’s trip to face fellow promoted side Wigan Athletic – and the club have released when tickets for this game will go on sale - with prices set at £29 for adults, £18 for over-65s, £18 for 18-21s, £10 for under-18s, and £5 for under-12s. Tickets for the clash at the DW Stadium on Thursday, December 29 (7:45pm kick-off) will go on sale to season card holders with 25+ Black Cat points at 10am on Friday, December 9 before being made available to supporters with less points in the coming days.
