Sunderland ended their US tour on a high with a win over Wrexham in Philadelphia.
Nordi Mukiele’s goal was the difference between the two teams and though Wrexham improved in the latter stages as a younger Black Cats side took to the field, the result was a deserved one that will encourage Regis Le Bris.
Here’s how we rated all the Black Cats involved in Pennslyvania...
21. Sub - Simon Adingra
Got away with one very loose pass but was otherwise positive and dangerous again. Came off with a knock late on which will be a concern for Sunderland. 6 | AFP via Getty Images
22. Sub - Timur Tutierov
Got through a lot of running but very little sight of goal this time around. 6 | Chris Fryatt, Echo
23. Sub - Trey Ogunsuyi
Came on for stoppage time as a result of Adingra’s injury. Carried the ball nicely to relieve pressure on a couple of occasions. N/A | Chris Fryatt, Echo
