Sunderland owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus set for meeting with fans
Sunderland’s new owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus will attend a video meeting with the club’s supporter groups later this month.
Black Cats fan organisation the Red & White Army have confirmed on Twitter that a structured dialogue will take place on Wednesday, March 24 via Zoom, with Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman and Chief Operating Officer Steve Davison also set to attend.
Red & White Army have been asking supporters for questions and topics to discuss with the club’s representatives at the meeting.
Louis-Dreyfus was confirmed as Sunderland’s new owner and controlling shareholder in February after the EFL sanctioned his takeover of the club.
The 23-year-old has regularly been seen watching the Black Cats and has already made several boardroom changes on Wearside.
Lee Johnson’s side have won six of their last seven games in League One and will be hoping to lift the Papa John’s Trophy at Wembley when they face Tranmere this weekend.
