Sunderland return to Premier League action against Leeds United at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon

It’s a huge day on Wearside as Sunderland look to put an end to their poor run of Premier League form and climb off the foot of the table.

It will be a tough test, however, against a Leeds United side who have made a very solid start to the campaign and have consistently proven to be a strong opponent over recent years. With more teams around Sunderland picking up points on Friday and Saturday, the pressure is growing on the Black Cats despite their Europa League adventure.
