Sunderland Ladies remain undefeated after breezing past Stoke City Women in FAWNL

Bridget Galloway scored a hat-trick and Keira Ramshaw added another as Sunderland Ladies bagged another three points against Stoke City Woman in this FAWNL his afternoon.

Galloway started the scoring just two minutes in, a true poachers goal from, poking home from Neve Herron’s rebounded effort. Alison Hall's long-range effort then escaped Claudia Moan to level.

Galloway then restored the Black Cats lead with a shot-come-cross from the right-hand side, the striker then bagged her hat-trick two minutes after the restart after she took the ball around the 'keeper before tucking home from a tight angle.

Captain Ramshaw put the game beyond the visitors with an excellent header from Louise Griffiths' cross. However, the visitors added a late consolation through Nicola Hudson's free-kick from just inside the Sunderland half, which escapes everyone before bouncing into the top corner.

The result means Sunderland’s unbeaten league run remains in-tact this campaign.
