The aim of the project is to support those who are suffering from isolation, loneliness, autism and dementia during the global pandemic.

Due to Covid-19, the Fans Museum has been unable to interact with the community and travelling fans.

The museum, therefore, plans to launch a digital logbook for supporters cataloguing some of their most iconic items - including Kevin Phillips' European Golden Boot and Jimmy Montgomery's European Cup winners medal.

The museum is now raising funds to use professional collection management software and professional photography which it needs to launch the project.

It’s been announced that Stewart Donald will support the scheme, but the museum has urged supporters to get behind it too.

A statement on the museum’s website read: “By digitising the Fans Museum collection and bringing it online we will be able to bring the collection to the homes of the local community and beyond.”
