Kyril Louis-Dreyfus is set to take a majority share in the club after he agreed a deal with current owner Stewart Donald, with hopes the EFL will give the ownership change the green light later this month.

But while the ownership change has been the talk of the terraces, midfielder Josh Scowen insists it hasn’t been the hot topic of conversation inside the walls of the Academy of Light – with the squad’s focus on moving the Black Cats up the table.

"To be honest, its not something we talk about,” he said, when quizzed on the impending change in ownership.
