Sunderland youngster Williams Kokolo has joined Darlington on loan.
The promising 18-year-old, comfortable at left wing and left back, could make his debut for the Quakers in Saturday's home game against Nuneaton.
Williams played for Monaco’s youth team until he was 16 before signing a scholarship contract with Sunderland at the start of the 2017-18 season.
He was a regular for the Under-18 team at Sunderland and has featured several times for the U23s this season.
Yet to make his first team debut, though he was on the bench for the Checkatrade Trophy game at Morecambe last month.
A club statement read: "Darlington FC would like to thank Sunderland for their help in loaning us Williams, who goes into the squad for Saturday's home game against Nuneaton."
